It argues that a successful de novo strategy has for key parts 1) a distinct organization, 2) specialized training and recruitment, 3) tailored marketing and promotions 4) targeted incentives. I buy it. . . . Thoughts on pre- and post-opening promotions are especially worthwhile. . . .
