In another change for all Wells Fargo customers, the bank said, effective Oct. 8, that customers enrolled in its debit card rewards program will no longer earn points from purchases or payments. The change is due to “recent regulatory changes resulting in a reduction in fees retailers pay banks for debit card transactions,” bank spokesman Josh Dunn said.
