From the CBA, Sensible Talk on Reforming the CFPB

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

My pal Richard Hunt, head of the Consumer Bankers Association, says in today’s USAToday that even in the wake of last week’s court ruling that found the CFPB’s structure to be unconstitutional, the agency needs to be reformed further to make it truly accountable and insulated from political whims. I agree with everything Richard has to say. His op-ed is very much worth your time.

What do you think? Let me know!

Good Luck. They stole it fair & square and aren’t about to surrender voluntarily.

I totally disagree, it is an unnecessary, expensive, bureaucratic government agency, populated by overpaid zealots. It should be dismantled rather than made more accountable and insulated from political whims.
